Overview
Presensense ("we," "us," or "our") is a location-based visit tracking application developed by VibeXApps. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Presensense app or website.
By using Presensense, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Information we collect
We collect information to provide better services to all our users. The following categories of data may be collected:

How we use your data
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide core app features including check-ins, visit history, and location-based reminders.
- Maintain, improve, and develop new features for Presensense.
- Send important service notifications such as security updates and policy changes.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of the app.
- Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations.
We will ask for your consent before using your information for any purpose not described here.

Location data
Presensense is a location-based app. To provide its core features, we need access to your device's location. Here is how we handle it:
- Permission required. We only access your location after you explicitly grant permission through your device's operating system.
- Foreground use. Location is used while you are actively using the app — for example, to enable check-ins and detect proximity to saved places.
- Background use (if enabled). If you grant background location access, Presensense may use it to send proximity-based reminders when you are near a saved place. You can disable this at any time.
- Not shared or sold. Your location data is never shared with advertisers or third-party data brokers.

Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We use Google Firebase for database storage and hosting. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.
- With your consent. If you share a visit itinerary via a shareable link, only the content you choose to share is made accessible.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
- Business transfers. If VibeXApps is acquired or merges, your information may transfer as part of that transaction under the same privacy protections.

Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information:
- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS).
- Data at rest is protected by Google Firebase infrastructure encryption.
- Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
- We regularly review and update our security practices.
No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, please contact us immediately.

Data retention
- Account and visit data — retained until you delete your account. Personal data is removed within 30 days of deletion.
- Usage and log data — retained in anonymized form for up to 18 months.
- Legal holds — some data may be retained longer if required by law.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights and controls
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated data.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection / restriction — object to or restrict certain types of processing.
California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of any sale. We do not sell personal information.
EEA/UK residents (GDPR): You have all rights described above. Our legal basis for processing is either your consent or our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service.

Children's privacy
Presensense is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
Users between the ages of 13 and 18 should use Presensense only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice such as an in-app notification or email.
Your continued use of Presensense after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
